A Telehealth-based clinic.
Nourished for Life Nutrition is a virtual nutrition clinic. We provide one-on-one video and phone consultations Australia-wide. The accessibility and flexibility of our Telehealth services means patients can access professional, evidence-based dietary advice from the comfort their home, office or wherever they are.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
It depends. A doctor's referral is needed if you are being referred by your GP under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan or a Team Care Arrangement. This makes you eligible for a Medicare rebate of $54.60 for each dietetic consultation listed in your care plan.
If you are DVA client, your doctor will also need to write a referral. All DVA telehealth consultations are fully covered, with no gap payments for patients.
All patients are welcome to self-refer. If you have private health insurance with 'extras', you may be eligible for rebates for our services.
How do consultations take place?
Telehealth consults are conducted via phone or video using Coviu, a simple and secure video telehealth platform, or via Zoom, a widely used video conferencing tool.
