Telehealth is an effective, convenient and time-saving way to consult with your healthcare professional, no matter where you live. Lessons from the current COVID-19 pandemic have taught us effective ways to access healthcare, and consulting with a dietitian via Telehealth is no exception.
How do I book?
Do I need a doctor's referral?
A doctor's referral is needed if you are being referred under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan or a Team Care Arrangement. You will then be eligible for Medicare rebates for the number of consultations specified on your care plan. Current Medicare rebates are also available for Telehealth items. If you are DVA client, your doctor will also need to write a referral.
Telehealth consults can be conducted via phone or video using Coviu, a simple and secure video telehealth platform.
